A customizable laser treatment for radiant, even, refreshed skin — designed for every skin tone, every concern, every comfort level. Performed in our private suite by Kelli Rausch, APRN, FNP-BC.
Precision South Korean laser technology that resurfaces and revitalizes — trusted by aesthetic professionals worldwide.
Seven preset modes and three intensity levels — gentle, moderate, or intense — adjusted to your skin type, concerns, and downtime preference.
Inclusive by design. NOUVADerm is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types — from the lightest to the deepest.
NOUVADerm is one of the most versatile treatments in the suite. It stimulates collagen, evens tone, and refines texture — addressing concerns on the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and body.
NOUVADerm uses a 1927nm Thulium laser to deliver precise energy into the skin, creating tiny microthermal zones that signal your skin to heal and renew itself. The result is increased collagen, refined texture, more even tone, and the kind of glow that comes from healthy skin — not a filter.
Because the laser is fractional, it treats only a portion of the skin at a time, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. That means real results with faster healing and less downtime than traditional resurfacing lasers.
Some patients want a lunchtime refresh. Others are ready for a deeper renewal. NOUVADerm meets you where you are. Kelli builds your plan around your skin, your goals, and the downtime you can give it.
Lightest · Non-Ablative
Radiance with essentially no downtime. A glow-up you can fit on a lunch break — best for prevention, maintenance, and a fresh-skin reset before an event.
30 minutes · mild redness, resume same day
Pricing provided at consultation.
Gentle · Light Resurfacing
A step up from Glow. Light resurfacing for texture, tone, and pore refinement — visible change without clearing your calendar.
60 minutes · mild redness for a day or two
Pricing provided at consultation.
Moderate · Sub-Ablative
Stronger renewal for firmness and refinement. Best for active concerns — pigmentation, dullness, early texture changes — when you can take a quiet weekend to heal.
75 minutes · 3–7 days of mild redness or flaking
Pricing provided at consultation.
Deepest · Single Treatment
My deepest resurfacing, for true transformation. A single treatment rather than a series, offered in three levels — perioral, perioral plus crow’s feet, or full face — we decide together at your consultation.
120 minutes · recovery planned around your calendar · consultation required
Pricing provided at consultation.
Your consultation with Kelli decides which level — and how many sessions — is right for your skin.
Most practices buy a laser that does one thing well, then fit every patient to it. NOUVADerm works the other way around. Seven preset modes, three intensity levels, dialed to exactly how much correction you want.
What's being adjusted is energy — how much heat goes into your skin with each pulse. Everything follows from that one number: how deep the correction goes, and how much downtime comes with it.
Non-ablative — lowest energy. Radiance with little to no downtime. This is GLOW.
Sub-ablative — moderate energy, mild downtime. MICRO and MAX live here.
Ablative — high energy, more than double sub-ablative. About five days.
That range is the entire point. The same laser that gives you a glow over a lunch break is the laser that fully ablates a face. Where you land on it isn't a package you pick — it's a number we set together, matched to your skin, how much you want corrected, and what your calendar can absorb.
Which is why every new NOUVADerm patient starts with a consultation. I won't laser someone I haven't sat down with first, and that's not a conversation to have with a booking form.
At its deepest settings NOUVADerm is fully ablative — the same category of resurfacing people look for when they search for a CO2 laser. I get there with a 1927nm thulium laser rather than carbon dioxide, and in three levels instead of one.
The levels are set by how much of the face we fully ablate:
Ablative I — the perioral area, around the mouth.
Ablative II — perioral plus crow's feet.
Ablative III — the full face, fully ablated.
The neck is always included. The chest is additional. Each is a single treatment rather than a series.
Patients ask, so here's the honest version.
A CO2 laser is the more aggressive tool. For very deep wrinkles or deep ice-pick scarring, it can do more in one session than I can.
What it costs you: ten to fourteen days of visible healing, and a real risk of pigment change if your skin is anything but fair.
NOUVADerm at Ablative is the trade I'd make for most people. About five days instead of two weeks, and a far more comfortable recovery. Safe across every Fitzpatrick type, I through VI — which matters, because the patients most often told they aren't candidates for a CO2 are the ones who come to me with melasma and pigment concerns.
If you genuinely need a CO2, I'll tell you that. It's part of what a consultation is for.
Your skin keeps changing after you leave. Tone and texture shift in the first week or two, and the collagen work continues for months after that.
How long it holds comes down to two things: how deep we went, and what you do afterward. Sun undoes this faster than anything else, so daily SPF isn't a suggestion.
What I tell every patient — one high-energy NOUVADerm treatment a year is the single best thing you can do for your skin. Two is better. For some people one is genuinely enough; for others it depends on the season of life they're in and how much they want corrected. That's a conversation, not a package.
| Consultation | We start with a private consult in the suite. Kelli reviews your skin, your goals, your history, and recommends a level and session count tailored to you. |
| Treatment | Sessions run from 30 minutes for GLOW to two hours for Ablative. Numbing goes on first, matched to your level, so you stay comfortable. Most patients describe the laser as warmth, not pain. |
| Right After | Skin may feel warm — like a light sunburn — for a few hours. Depending on the level you chose, expect anywhere from no downtime at GLOW to about five days at Ablative — redness, mild swelling, or flaking as your skin renews. |
| Your Results | Many patients see an immediate refresh after the first session. Full results build over 4 to 6 weeks as your skin produces new collagen. Most plans include 1 to 4 sessions, spaced about 4 weeks apart. Ablative is a single treatment. |
Most patients describe it as a warm, tingling sensation — tolerable, not painful. Numbing is matched to your level, and even at Ablative the recovery is far more comfortable than a CO2 laser’s.
Most patients benefit from 1 to 4 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart, depending on your concerns and goals. Some see meaningful results after just one. We build the plan together at your consult. Many patients see a glow within days. Full results — smoother texture, more even tone, fewer fine lines — develop over 4 to 6 weeks as your skin produces new collagen.
It depends on the level we choose. Gentle sessions have little to no downtime. Moderate sessions typically involve 3 to 7 days of redness or flaking. Ablative means about five days — a far more comfortable recovery than a CO2 laser, planned with you at consult. We build the schedule around your calendar.
