Restylane is a line of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers that provides a non-surgical way to restore facial volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance contours.
Longevity varies by product and treatment area, generally ranging from 6 to 18 months.
Lips: Typically 6 to 12 months (e.g., Restylane Kysse lasts up to 1 year).
Cheeks/Midface: Often 12 to 18 months with products like Restylane Contour or Restylane Lyft.
Hands: Results generally last up to 6 months.
Restylane should not be used by individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

JUVÉDERM® is a collection of injectable facial fillers that can help enhance your facial features by plumping lips, smoothing wrinkles, or restoring lost facial volume.
Mild, temporary side effects can occur after treatment with JUVÉDERM®.1,2,4-7,9 These typically appear around the injection site in the hours and days following your treatment and can include:
- Redness
- Swelling
- Itching
- Pain when touched
- Prickling sensation in the hands and feet
- Firmness/bumps
- Bruising
- Discolouration
These reactions may show up immediately after treatment, or after a short delay, however they are not likely to last longer than a week. In the unlikely event that inflammatory reactions persist for more than one week, or if any other side effects develop, speak with your doctor.
